Equipped with NFC technology, fingerprint scanner, multiple payment methods and QR code reader, Tri’s new 3DigiBox is a new digital one-stop-shop for the network’s customers, and a safe and simple alternative to visiting a Tri store.

With minimal contact at a safe social distance, customers can buy SIM cards, credit, data packages, game vouchers, as well as exchange lost SIM cards, use BonsTri points and access a host of other digital services through the boxes.

As well as looking cool and being fun to use, the vending machines – up and running at 91 strategically important locations throughout Indonesia – have great potential to reduce the pressure on Tri’s physical stores, allowing the brand to maintain close customer contact during the pandemic, albeit via digital technology. For the customer, convenience is also key, with the breadth of services available through the box.

Customers can find boxes in malls, train stations, hospitals and airports – and the network plans to roll out this new technology in residential areas, universities, rest areas and more travel destinations.
