lovers – is adding straightforward value to its communications strategy, and
asking Vietnamese people to ‘be smart’ when they choose a network.
‘Are You Smarter’, the campaign slogan, introduces a value proposition that’s extremely competitive in the market: Pay less, get more, plus don’t miss a call (for free). Customers not only get twice as much data for their money, but they also receive the nation’s first ‘No Missed Calls’ package, which guarantees to keep them in touch when using a second SIM –with so many ‘second SIM’ customers choosing Vietnamobile, that’s a powerful proposition.
Vietnamobile have taken the message to the people in a variety of ways; using Roadshows, OOH advertising in major cities, LCD screens in the south of the country, plus a major KOL/Influencer online activation. The plan, looking forward, is to roll with the ‘Are You Smarter’ campaign, whilst reinforcing the ‘network for data lovers’ message that’s gaining traction across Vietnam
This two-pronged marketing approach is aimed at retaining customers, building loyalty and, at the same time, bringing new customers onto the network.
