WINDTRE has been shortlisted at the Cannes Lions Awards for its work in combatting the negativity and disrespect towards online female gamers via its 2021 #VoceAllerGamer or ‘Voice Girl Gamers’ campaign.
Created in collaboration with creative agency, Wunderman Thompson Milano, the TVC features a famous male gamer whose voice is altered to sound female. The social experiment brought the general public’s attention to the issue; 90% of students say they recognise online gender-based violence.
WINDTRE is proud to be shortlisted in three categories, including Direct, Health & Wellness, and PR. You can watch the TVC and learn more about the groundbreaking campaign here.
It’s no surprise then that WINDTRE has received a special mention from “Corriere della Sera and Buone Notizie”, in collaboration with “NeXt” at the 2023 “Sustainability Report Awards” for results achieved in the social aspect of its ESG objectives, part of its sustainability plan.
Out of 170 applications, the jury congratulated WINDTRE on its commitment to gender equality, commenting on its company guidelines, which include collecting feedback from employees and encouraging practices in support of an inclusive culture. The company also fosters a healthy work-life balance for the wellbeing of its employees through its “Human Working” smart model, based on flexibility, responsibility, trust and positive relationships.
In addition to this special mention, WINDTRE joins the ranks of the 200 largest Italian companies awarded as the most sustainable, published in collaboration with “Il Sole 24 Ore” by Statista, an international market research and data analysis company.
