Once again, Hutch has left its mark on Sri Lanka’s digital marketing landscape at the SLIM Digis 2.2 – the Grand recognition awards by the country’s premier body for Marketing. In the event held in December last year, Hutch was delighted to receive four awards including a special merit award for its Best Use of Technology in Marketing. Hutch was honoured a Silver Award in the Telecommunications Category, and Bronze in three categories: Best Performance Marketing Campaign, Small Budget Impact and Telecommunications Category.

The latest initiative, Hutch ‘Katha Nidahasa’ (Talk with Freedom) plan was launched on the country’s independence day, 4th of February, as a relief for the masses offering people Unlimited calls within the Hutch network at an affordable Rs 67 ($ 0.18) a month.
The humble ad campaign features a loaf of bread with the message, “Pay less than a half loaf of bread for unlimited calls all month” aimed at signifying how affordable staying in touch with family and loved ones all month is on HUTCH.
