CKH IOD, the CKHH business unit for innovations, opportunities and development, hosted its latest ‘All Hands’ event in July, at London’s Leadenhall Building.
The day comprised presentations, interviews and panel discussions and was attended by all staff from all locations within CKH IOD, representatives from HWEL and WINDTRE, plus senior leaders from businesses such UK Power Networks, eSIMGo, and Frequentis who gave their perspectives on the business.
Themed ‘Making an Impact’, the event explored how CKH IOD has put its purpose into action in the past 12 months, to deliver impact. Delegates discussed how CKH IOD’s departments collaborate to maximise opportunities, how innovation in the business is positively impacting customers and how CKH IOD is adding measurable value for the CKHH Group.
Central to the event was a series of presentations on the successful collaborations between CKH IOD and its partners. One such success story – presented by keynote speaker Ian Cameron, Director of Customer Service and Innovation from UK Power Networks (UKPN) – described how collaboration with CKDelta has made it possible for UKPN to manage increasing power demands across their network, allowing them to meet and plan for customer demand now and in the future. By employing a unique combination of predictive tools and data sources, CKDelta has enabled 100% visibility of the assets – both significantly reducing and avoiding environmental impact and incurring massive cost savings back to UKPN.
Delegates also heard from keynote speaker Joe Parker, CEO of CKH IOD, who showed that by being in touch with where the Group is creating change, CKH IOD can use its expertise to create and capitalise on scalable opportunities – for the business and the Group, now and in the future.
All branding for the event was created by WHAM, international brand group for CKHH.
