Three is also Ireland’s Speedtest Awards™ Winner for 5G Mobile Network. Three achieved a final Speed Score of 209.10, with median download speeds of 215.26 Mbps and median upload speeds of 24.27 Mbps.

In another new survey carried out by Systemics-PAB, Three was named the operator with the best 5G performance in Dublin. Systemics-PAB, a leading provider of benchmarking services for mobile operators and regulators, conducted an independent survey to international standards. It found that Three has the largest 5G coverage in Dublin, as well as the highest average throughput during data download and upload, with an astounding average download throughput of 325 Mbps. Systemics said this is one of the highest results recorded to date from its network benchmark projects.

Three Ireland shows no signs of slowing down when it comes to bridging the digital divide between rural and urban Ireland. With a network investment of over €100 million, Ireland will be a country unified by its 5G network.

Special mention to Three UK, who also won the Speedtest Award for Fastest 5G Mobile Network during Q1-Q2 2021, with a Speed Score of 221.81.
