Three at 20

In March this year, the Three brand celebrates its 20th anniversary. Launched on 03/03/03 into crowded markets, Three was the world’s first true mobile broadband network – born to be better than the competition. It would be better by putting people, not technology, at the centre of the brand – constantly increasing access, creating better experiences and improving value. From day one Three was a pioneer, receiving the first gold record for mobile digital downloads and streaming the first live event on mobile. Three made people’s lives better by setting the bar in social media usage, mobile music and streaming.

Three went on to change mobile forever, by introducing the ‘All You Can Eat’ concept – the way the world now consumes mobile data. Then by allowing customers to roam freely and binge wherever and whenever. By innovating over and over, Three now serves over 100 million customers worldwide – something we can all celebrate.
