With the “Try before you buy” motto, Drei is offering up³ for an obligation-free three months, with the option to pause or cancel at anytime. It’s a first for mobile customers in Austria!

The ad campaign features a spoof on the classic Wild West duel, with the protagonist staring at their mirror image. Instead of reaching for their weapon, they pull out their smartphone and opt for the up³ plan.

Customers can simply download the up³ app from the app store, install their eSIM profile and start using Austria’s fastest 5G network hassle-free and with no limits. The countdown then begins; customers get to see for themselves which operator provides the best network coverage and price point. Since up³ is easily activated on the device’s already installed SIM, it doesn’t require a SIM card to launch it. However, should customers prefer Drei’s up³ plan after the three-month trial is over, they can simply extend the subscription, and even opt to carry over their number.

The marketing campaign is supported by strong OOH paired with radio commercials, and two entertaining TVCs, which you can watch here.
