We Unite.

Since April this year, Tri Indonesia has been working to support its country’s  fight against COVID-19 – and with its #KitaBersatu (We Unite) data package offer, has been raising valuable funds for UNICEF’s medical personnel, and patients who have been most affected.

On June 15 the network handed over the proceeds to UNICEF – a welcome cheque for Rp292.736.000 (approximately US$20,000) which goes direct to the medical front line.

The substantial donation – a percentage of the revenue raised on data packages sold – will help in many ways. It will be spent on providing accurate COVID-19 information to families, building sanitation facilities, assisting ‘learn from home’ activities, supplying basic medicine to families in need, fulfilling children’s nutritional needs, assuring children’s social protection, and supporting parents to care for their children during the pandemic.

Building on the #KitaBersatu campaign, Tri Indonesia has also distributed more than 20,000 25GB SIM cards to COVID-19 hospitals across Indonesia by partnering with the government’s Disaster Mitigation Agency, capsule hotel start-up Bobobox, and pharmaceutical company Kalbe Farma.

In addition, Tri has also donated Rp10 billion to State-Owned Enterprises for Indonesia Foundation to support their COVID-19 mitigation efforts throughout the nation.
