As the Innovations, Opportunities and Development division of CKHH, CKH IOD aims to support the group’s telcos through its work with bulk procurement, centralizing of international roaming and streaming deals, mobile device security, B2B solutions and sustainable technologies.

Speaking about the division’s 2023 highlights, Director of Enterprise, Wholesale and IoT Products Tom Gardner highlighted a project to automate Hutchison Ports Stockholm, by implementing a Tre-powered private LTE network, thus driving up efficiency of movement within the port. This strategy, through Three Group Solutions, is one that CKH IOD plans to roll out to other ports in 2024. Other focuses will be in further monetising the international roaming and travel eSIM business, and Rich Communication Services (RCS) Business Messaging.

In 2023, CKDelta has redefined its focus on AI and data analytics, helping Group companies extract value from CKH’s unrivalled scale and richness of data. Having built a suite of intelligent apps in collaboration with CKI businesses puts CKDelta in a strong position to go to market in 2024 with tried and tested products that increase efficiency and drive revenue growth while improving safety and sustainability.

Success stories were shared during the first CK Hutchison AI Conference in December 2023 to inspire CKH leaders to tap into the expertise CKDelta has available as a central Group AI and data function.
