Three Ireland’s dynamic trio recently competed in the EU Fortnite Trinity Challenge powered by Three/WINDTRE. Coming in at #1,573 and winning a Trinity Trooper Outfit, Team Ireland were one of the thousands of competitors across the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden and Italy who competed in the tournament.

As well as being epic fun, thetournamentcelebrates the launch of new direct billing payment solutions for Epic Games customers on Three. It heralds the integration of “3Pay” in Fortnite, a convenient way for our customers in UK, Ireland, Italy, Sweden, and Denmark to pay for V-Bucks and other items and be charged straight to their mobile bill.

Andrew Foy, director of new products and propositions at Three UK, said Three was excited to partner with Epic on the Trios Tournament. “We have simplified the overall experience by offering our customers the ability to charge in-game items and enhancements direct to their mobile bill.” The tournament was open to players on Android, PC and console and went live on March 14 and lasted around 3 hours. The top 3,333 Trios were able to unlock the new Trinity Trooper Outfit, and anyone who competed in at least five matches was able to unlock the Trinity Impact and Trinity Overload Emoticons.
